It is based on a game system devised by Cabrilenc Gabriel Alcaide that aims to spread the negative stigma of mathematics among children and demonstrates that players can learn.

The Lego buildings or cards are two games that can be played in many ways. This premise neix BYŌDŌ®. It is based on a system of adjustments that is linked to a university project by Gabriel Alcaide, whose objective is to overcome the negative stigma of mathematics. Although people of advanced age can also play to work on aspects such as memory, today it is present in the educational sphere.

"Gabriel Alcaide, creator and founder of BYŌDŌ®: The objective is to have fun while learning. The grace that followed a system on us has a series of defined ways of playing but also gives us the freedom that they puguin invent-se their game – which is the one they fancied – is in a context of learning is not forced but rather consequent on who they are playing."

This past week, who interacted with Gabriel Alcaide's project were the 5th grade students of Escola el Turó . This group, however, was not limited to playing according to the instructions but had a bigger goal: creating new systems to play both BYŌDŌ® games.

"Jordi Graupera, master of English, digital competence and facilitator of the jocs workshop at l'Escola el Turó: Three years ago we introduced the jocs workshop. The woman lasts one hour a week with the students. Ho fem pel simple fet that the joc is a natural element in the children and children. In our case, he volgut aprofitar el joc to generate aprenentatge."

Concentration, fitness, it's time to play. In this way, the Turó students have demonstrated to the founder of BYŌDŌ® the different systems that they have created in the classroom. Games of more or less duration, with the participation of few or many players, using all or just some of the fish, using various tasks... some combinations that, in the form of games, have stimulated mental calculation and mathematical operations among the participants.

"Uma, a 5th grade student at Escola el Turó: I've had quite a bit of fun and I've had a lot of fun creating and passing these around with my company."

"Marina, 5th grade student at Escola el Turó: M'ha permès millorar les sums."

"Ismael, 5th grade student at Escola el Turó: The one who pleases me the most is that you have a good time with both sums. The joc is for math."

In Gabriel Alcaide it will begin to fer workshops at schools l'any passat. An experience that can be enjoyed not only by the students but also by the teachers of the centers visited. The cabrilenc details that the response has been very positive and for now it is not only by playing BYŌDŌ® in the educational field but that it is seen in physical establishments and also through the seva Web page .
